The AiR Flex Soft Sided Rib Protector comes in two sizes. This is to allow players to choose a rib protector that best suits them. Players in skilled positions are the most likely to wear this pad model

Brock Bead Technology
The beads absorb and dissipate the force of the impact. Plastic spines in each channel reinforces the beads to provide stability as well as protection. The Aerospacer fabric and Brock beads allow the pad to breathe--forcing hot air out and bringing cool air in to the player's body.

Sizes
Their height, current shoulder pad, and possible injury location (or area that they want to protect) are all factors in choosing between the 6" or 8" model. Quarterbacks will mostly wear the 8" model.
